It runs in the Neighbourhood shown in KØS Copenhagen

Nørregade 29 / Køge / Copenhagen, Sep 2017

In September, Copenhagen based KØS (Denmark's museum of art in public space) presents a major research-based exhibition that explores and debates contemporary art's potential and potential in hospitals. What can contemporary art mean, and what does it mean to different groups of users in a hospital? KØS has allied a sociologist who, through interviews with users in five Danish hospitals, will collect new knowledge for the exhibition. The exhibition contains a number of new and unique Danish and international examples of art projects in hospitals with names like Poul Gernes, Spencer Finch, Ane Mette Ruge, SUPERFLEX, Roger Hiorns, Julian Opie, TAL R, Eva Koch and Kirstine Roepstorff.

One of the works that will be shown is Jeanne van Heeswijks art project 'It runs in the Neighbourhood'. A unique hospital TV-soap that was made with employees of the Stavanger University Hospital.
