Last chance to see The city in 3D

Hilversum, Aug 2011

Till the 14th of August you can see the work WEER ZIN IN ZANDVOORT in the exhibition The city in 3D in Museum Hilversum. The city is like life: you are in the middle of it. Whether you live there, you work there or shop there, you usually just accept its existence. It's just there. The exhibition the City in 3D focuses at three aspects of the city, each city: History, Street art and Visions on the future. The exhibition shows the work of artist and architects like Ari Versluis & Ellie Uyttenbroek, John Kormeling, Banksky, Hans Wilschut, Willem M. Dudok, Doepel Strijkers Architects, Rietveld Landscape, Doepel Strijker Architecten.

Jeanne van Heeswijk and Francois Lombarts contributed to this exhibition with their collaborative work WEER ZIN IN ZANDVOORT. They visualised the decades of governmental plans for the Burgemeester van Fennema square combined with needs and ideas of inhabitants and visitors of the sea-side city of Zandvoort. None of them have ever been realized. This work is also part of the solo exhibition of Jeanne van Heeswijk at the Chabot Museum in Rotterdam.
